‘Prevention at Sea’ Personnel receives an MLC 2006 trainer/Inspector Certificate July 2013

‘Prevention at Sea’ founder Mr. Achtypis received a Certificate from the International Labour Organization certifying him to be an MLC 2006 trainer/ Inspector following a course which took place at the Maritime Labour Academy in Italy.

The training activities offered by the ITC-ILO Maritime Labour Academy implement the highest level of expertise and accuracy. They are facilitated by a team of experts that were involved in the drafting, designing and adoption of the Convention in 2006 and have a long experience in training of maritime inspectors.
