Alex-Y refused access to the Paris MoU region

On 9th September 2011 the "ALEX-Y" with IMO number 9195913 was detained in Liverpool (UK) and released from detention on 27th February 2014 to sail to a repair yard in Constanta (Romania). The United Kingdom has had confirmation from the Romanian Authorities that the ship has not arrived at the intended repair yard.

The ship flies the flag of Togo, which is black on the current Paris MoU WGB list. The ship will be refused further access to any port and anchorages in the Paris MoU region, except a port of the ship's flag State, until the vessel fully complies with all applicable requirement of the conventions.
