Ada A refused access to the Paris MoU region

On 3th April 2014 the "ADA A" with IMO number 9045699 was detained in Ravenna (Italy) and released from detention on 9th April 2014 to sail to a repair yard in Tuzla/Istanbul (Turkey). The Republic of Turkey informed the Italian Port State Authority that the ship has not arrived at the intended repair yard. The ship flies the flag of Panama, which is white on the current Paris MoU WGB list. The ship will be refused further access to any port and anchorages in the Paris MoU region, except a port of the ship's flag State, until the vessel fully complies with all applicable requirements of the conventions.
