NIGERIA AIDS PIRACY FIGHT

Nigeria has promised $150,000 to the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) to aid its campaign against piracy.
 
The government praised the IMO’s maritime security fund targeted at combating gunmen in the Gulf of Guinea.
 
It said it was handing over $100,000 to the fund and $50,000 for its technical cooperation fund.
